After "How The World Was Saved", it was decided our next audio book project should be an original story. To celebrate the approach of Halloween and my fascination with horror hosts, I penned a scary story and Kate provided live sound effects on her keyboard. Vampiric costumes and makeup were worn, an eerie light center was built, a spooky stone backdrop was hung, and Pierre the skeleton made his grand debut at these early performances.

Next Halloween, I had a vision of original Halloween bands competing for a prize at our approaching costume party. Kate and I attempted to form rival bands but unfortunately no one wanted to join either of our bands, so we decided to work together. It was quietly judged at the time our roles were misplaced in Glowing Garden and to be corrected in the next project. Kate began to write lyrics about witches and I took my bass out of sabbatical. We recently found a book of black metal band names in the trash, and starting making lists of great metal band names not yet taken. At the top of our list was... Evil Sword.
