These songs were written between 2006-7 and recorded using Garageband and whatever instruments or things to bang on were around. The words came first. It’s a little more technically competent than what came before it and is probably the most accessible and cohesive of the early (pre-Bandcamp) Kate Ferencz albums. Mostly unrequited love songs for degenerates and monsters, this music attempts to reach across some vast black hole expanses of time, loss, death, and a seemingly bottomless loneliness. Hopefully it can do some good for us at the time of this writing in quarantine 2020.
